The high insulation qualities and lightweight properties are due to the fibres microscopic internal air pockets.

Alpaca fibre is reknowned for its lustre and shine, where unlike sheep's wool, alpaca fibre is five times warmer. Also with having no lanolin and a smooth cell structure, the fibres are less likely to itch making alpaca products hypo-allergenic.

There are more than 20 natural colours of alpaca fleece available, where the blending of these fibres enables an infinate range of gorgeous natural colours.
